Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Savolitinib + itraconazole** is a combination of two orally administered small molecule drugs: savolitinib, a selective inhibitor of the receptor tyrosine kinase MET, and itraconazole, a triazole antifungal and potent CYP3A4 and P-glycoprotein inhibitor. This combination has been investigated in clinical pharmacokinetic studies to assess drug–drug interactions, specifically the effect of itraconazole-mediated CYP3A4 inhibition on the exposure of savolitinib. The addition of itraconazole does not significantly alter the pharmacokinetic profile or overall exposure (Cmax, AUC) of savolitinib, suggesting no clinically significant interaction for this combination.
