Overview
SC0245 + irinotecan is a **combination therapy** under clinical investigation for the treatment of relapsed extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC). SC0245 is a potent, novel **ATR (ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3 related) inhibitor** designed to enhance the effects of DNA-damaging agents, such as irinotecan, which is a topoisomerase I inhibitor. Preclinical data indicate synergistic anti-tumor effects in small cell lung cancer cell lines. The combination regimen is currently being evaluated in a multi-center, open-label, phase Ib/II clinical study (NCT05731518) for both safety (dose escalation, toxicity, PK) and efficacy (antitumor activity) in ES-SCLC.
