**SCIB1 + iSCIB1+** refers to investigational DNA vaccines developed by Scancell for advanced melanoma, evaluated in combination with checkpoint inhibitors like nivolumab + ipilimumab or pembrolizumab. SCIB1 incorporates CD4 and CD8 epitopes from melanoma antigens TRP-2 and gp100 within an antibody framework to target activated dendritic cells, stimulating immune responses against cancer cells. iSCIB1+ is a second-generation version with additional epitopes and improved Fc targeting for broader patient benefit. Administered via needle-free injection up to 11 times over 85 weeks, these vaccines show promising safety, high response rates (up to 85% in early data), improved progression-free survival, and immune activation without added toxicity in phase 2 SCOPE trial (NCT04079166).[1][3][9]
