Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SCTB41 + SCTB39G is an investigational combination immunotherapy regimen developed by Sinocelltech for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors. SCTB41 is a recombinant humanized anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody-IL-15 fusion protein. It is designed to provide dual therapeutic action by blocking the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) checkpoint to restore T-cell activity while simultaneously delivering interleukin-15 (IL-15) to stimulate the proliferation and activation of immune effector cells, such as NK cells and CD8+ T cells. SCTB39G is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein frequently overexpressed in gastric, gastroesophageal junction, and pancreatic cancers. SCTB39G is engineered using a glycoengineering platform to enhance its antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) activity. The combination is being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials to leverage the potential synergy between checkpoint inhibition, cytokine-mediated immune stimulation, and direct tumor targeting.
