Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a trivalent seasonal influenza vaccine containing three viral strains: Influenza A (H1N1), Influenza A (H3N2), and Influenza B (Phuket lineage). The vaccine is designed to provide active immunization against seasonal influenza by stimulating the production of neutralizing antibodies against the viral hemagglutinin protein. In the context of the clinical trial conducted by Mahidol University (NCT04154657), this vaccine served as a standardized immunological challenge to evaluate the immunomodulatory effects of a probiotic fermented milk containing *Lactobacillus paracasei* (IMULUS) on the human immune system, specifically measuring the vaccine-induced antibody response in healthy volunteers.
