Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Selinexor + dexamethasone is a combination therapy used to treat multiple myeloma. Selinexor is a selective inhibitor of nuclear export (SINE) that blocks exportin 1 (XPO1) and forces nuclear accumulation and activation of tumor suppressor proteins, inhibits nuclear factor κB, and reduces oncoprotein messenger RNA translation. This combination is primarily used in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received multiple prior therapies.
