Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Serplulimab + HANBEITAI is a monoclonal antibody combination therapy developed by Shanghai Henlius Biotech. It consists of serplulimab (brand name: HANSIZHUANG), a recombinant humanized anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody, and HANBEITAI, a biosimilar of bevacizumab that targets vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This combination is designed to provide synergistic antitumor activity by simultaneously blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 immune checkpoint pathway to restore T-cell mediated immune responses and inhibiting VEGF-driven angiogenesis to normalize tumor vasculature. By addressing both immune evasion and pathological angiogenesis, the regimen aims to improve therapeutic outcomes in advanced solid tumors. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 3 clinical trials for the first-line treatment of non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (nsNSCLC) and in Phase 2 trials for unresectable or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and colorectal cancer (CRC).
