Serplulimab + mFOLFOX6 is a combination regimen consisting of the monoclonal antibody serplulimab and the chemotherapy protocol known as modified FOLFOX6 (mFOLFOX6). Serplulimab is an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody that acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, enhancing T-cell mediated antitumor responses. The mFOLFOX6 regimen includes three chemotherapeutic agents—oxaliplatin, folinic acid (leucovorin), and fluorouracil (5-FU)—which work synergistically to inhibit DNA synthesis and cell division in rapidly proliferating cancer cells. This combination is primarily investigated for use in gastrointestinal cancers such as colorectal or gastric cancer. The chemotherapy component (mFOLFOX6) is administered in 2-week cycles and has established efficacy in advanced gastrointestinal malignancies[1][5][7]. Serplulimab's addition aims to further improve outcomes by leveraging immunotherapy mechanisms.
