Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Serplulimab + SOX is a combination therapy consisting of serplulimab (an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody) and SOX chemotherapy regimen (S-1 + oxaliplatin). Serplulimab works by blocking the PD-1 receptor on T cells, enhancing immune response against cancer cells. The SOX component includes S-1 (an oral fluoropyrimidine) and oxaliplatin (a platinum-based agent) that inhibit DNA synthesis and replication in cancer cells. This immunotherapy-chemotherapy combination is being investigated primarily for the treatment of locally advanced gastric cancer and adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction.
