Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Seviteronel + docetaxel is an investigational combination therapy being studied primarily for metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Seviteronel (INO-464) is a selective CYP17 lyase inhibitor and androgen receptor (AR) antagonist with approximately 10-fold selectivity for inhibition of 17,20-lyase over 17α-hydroxylase. Docetaxel is a taxane chemotherapy agent. Laboratory data has demonstrated that this combination can suppress metastatic TNBC growth and increase survival by blocking chemotherapy-induced cell plasticity.
