Shehuang is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) topical formulation developed by Chengdu Huasen Pharmaceutical High-Tech Co., Ltd. for the treatment of chronic eczema. Formulated as a cream, it is designed to leverage the anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and antimicrobial properties of traditional ingredients, likely including artificial musk and sulfur. The drug has been evaluated in a Phase II, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial (CTR20132696) in China to assess its safety and efficacy in patients with chronic eczema.
