Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SHR-1501 + adebrelimab is an experimental combination therapy consisting of two investigational immunotherapeutic agents: SHR-1501 and adebrelimab. **SHR-1501** is a recombinant interleukin-15 superagonist Fc fusion protein designed to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by increasing the infiltration and activation of cytotoxic CD8+ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells in the tumor microenvironment. It functions primarily as an agonist of the interleukin-15 receptor (IL-15R)[1][3]. **Adebrelimab (SHR-1316)** is a fully humanized immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4) monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death-ligand 1 (**PD-L1**). By blocking the interaction of PD-L1 with its ligands, PD-1 and B7-1, adebrelimab reactivates T-cell-mediated anti-tumor immunity[2]. This combination leverages the activation of effector immune cells by SHR-1501 and the checkpoint blockade by adebrelimab for enhanced anti-cancer effects. Both are being developed by Hengrui Medicine.
