This combination, often deployed alongside XELOX chemotherapy (capecitabine and oxaliplatin), is being tested for its additive or synergistic antitumor effects in first-line treatment of metastatic disease, particularly mCRC and cervical cancer. The combination aims to enhance immune activity, block immunosuppression, and reduce angiogenesis, leading to improved response rates and disease control[1][3][5].
