Overview

SHR2554 is a novel, highly selective oral small molecule inhibitor of Enhancer of Zeste Homolog 2 (EZH2), an epigenetic regulator involved in histone methylation and gene silencing. By inhibiting EZH2, SHR2554 reduces H3K27me3 levels, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells. It has demonstrated broad-spectrum antitumor activity in preclinical studies and is being developed primarily for hematologic malignancies such as peripheral T-cell lymphoma. CHOP refers to a standard chemotherapy regimen composed of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine (Oncovin), and prednisone. The combination "SHR2554 + CHOP" represents the investigational use of the EZH2 inhibitor with this established multi-agent chemotherapy protocol for enhanced efficacy against lymphomas[1][2][6].
