Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SHR2554 + liposomal mitoxantrone is an investigational combination therapy being evaluated for the treatment of peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). SHR2554 is an oral, small-molecule inhibitor of Enhancer of Zeste Homolog 2 (EZH2), a histone methyltransferase that plays a key role in epigenetic regulation and is often overexpressed or mutated in various lymphomas. Liposomal mitoxantrone is a nanoparticle-encapsulated formulation of the anthracenedione chemotherapy agent mitoxantrone, which acts by intercalating into DNA and inhibiting topoisomerase II, thereby inducing DNA damage and cell death. The combination aims to provide synergistic anti-tumor activity by combining targeted epigenetic modulation with potent cytotoxic chemotherapy delivered via a liposomal carrier.
