SHR4640 + febuxostat

SHR4640 + febuxostat is a fixed-drug combination therapy under investigation for the treatment of primary hyperuricemia and gout. SHR4640 (also known as ruzinurad) is a novel, highly selective and potent inhibitor of uric acid transporter 1 (URAT1), which reduces serum uric acid by inhibiting its reabsorption in the kidneys[1][3][7]. Febuxostat is a non-purine selective xanthine oxidase inhibitor that lowers serum uric acid by blocking its production[2][6][8].
