Overview

SHR6390 + omeprazole is a combination of two drugs. SHR6390 is an investigational small molecule cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 (CDK4/6) inhibitor developed for the treatment of certain cancers, notably hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. Omeprazole is a well-established proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that decreases gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells. Omeprazole is used to treat conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome[1][2][3][6]. The combination may be studied or used in clinical settings where both cancer therapy and management of gastrointestinal symptoms are required.
