Overview

SHR7390 + camrelizumab is a combination therapy consisting of two agents: SHR7390, a novel, selective small molecule inhibitor of MEK1/2, and camrelizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed death-1 (PD-1) receptor. This combination is being investigated primarily for the treatment of advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC), particularly in patients who are refractory to standard treatments. The rationale for combining these agents stems from preclinical evidence that MEK inhibition can enhance T-cell infiltration into tumors and potentially boost the efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade. In phase I clinical trials, this regimen demonstrated manageable safety and preliminary antitumor activity across different molecular subtypes of CRC regardless of microsatellite instability (MSI) or BRAF mutation status[1][2][3]. Camrelizumab is approved in China under the brand name AiRuiKa for several cancers but not yet approved by FDA[8].
