SI-B001 + docetaxel

SI-B001 + docetaxel is a combination therapy consisting of SI-B001 (izalontamab), a first-in-class EGFR×HER3 bispecific antibody, and docetaxel, a taxane chemotherapy agent. SI-B001 works by simultaneously binding to both EGFR and HER3 receptors on cancer cells, blocking their phosphorylation and activation, thus preventing downstream signaling that leads to cancer cell proliferation. Docetaxel works by disrupting the microtubule network essential for cell division. This combination is being investigated primarily for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) in patients who have failed prior therapies.
