silodosin + tamsulosin + tadalafil

This is a combination therapy consisting of three small molecule drugs—silodosin, tamsulosin, and tadalafil. Silodosin and tamsulosin are both selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonists (alpha-blockers), primarily used to treat lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, commonly used for erectile dysfunction and also approved for LUTS/BPH. The rationale for combining these agents is to leverage their complementary mechanisms of action to improve urinary flow rates, reduce LUTS severity, and address concomitant erectile dysfunction in men. Clinical studies have shown that combinations such as silodosin plus tadalafil or tamsulosin plus tadalafil provide superior improvements in symptom scores and urinary flow compared to monotherapy with any single agent[2][4][5].
