Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Simmitinib + SG001** is a combination therapy studied in advanced solid tumors, including esophageal, head and neck, and non-small cell lung cancers. Simmitinib is a small molecule inhibitor targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), intended to block EGFR-driven tumor proliferation. SG001 (also known as enlonstobart) is a monoclonal antibody acting as a PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1) inhibitor, designed to enhance antitumor immune responses. The combination is under investigation in various phase I–III clinical trials, especially for patients who have failed standard therapies or with EGFR mutations/overexpression, and sometimes in combination with chemotherapy.
