Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Simvastatin + fenebrutinib is a combination of two small molecule drugs. Simvastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) used to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for cholesterol synthesis in the liver[1][2]. Fenebrutinib (GDC-0853) is a selective, reversible, non-covalent inhibitor of Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK), developed for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases as well as certain hematologic malignancies[5][6][8]. The combination has been studied in drug-drug interaction trials but is not an approved therapeutic regimen.
