sintilimab + anlotinib + albumin paclitaxel + carboplatin

This is a four-drug combination regimen consisting of sintilimab, anlotinib, albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-paclitaxel), and carboplatin. Sintilimab is a monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. Anlotinib is a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets multiple receptors involved in angiogenesis, including vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR), fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR), and platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR). Albumin-bound paclitaxel is a nanoparticle formulation of the microtubule-stabilizing chemotherapeutic agent paclitaxel, designed for improved delivery and reduced toxicity. Carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapy agent that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis in cancer cells. This combination leverages immunotherapy with antiangiogenic therapy and cytotoxic chemotherapy to achieve synergistic antitumor effects. It has been investigated primarily in extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) with brain metastases as well as other solid tumors[6][9]. The regimen aims to reduce tumor-induced immunosuppression, inhibit angiogenesis, disrupt microtubule function, and induce DNA damage.
