Overview

Sintilimab plus bevacizumab is a combination therapy of two monoclonal antibodies used primarily in oncology. Sintilimab is a fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, blocking its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2, thereby enhancing T-cell mediated immune responses against tumors[6][8]. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that binds to vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), inhibiting angiogenesis and thus restricting tumor blood supply[2]. The combination has shown efficacy in several cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and recurrent glioblastoma, often in conjunction with chemotherapy or hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy. This regimen aims to synergistically enhance antitumor immunity while disrupting tumor vasculature[1][3][4].
