This is a four-drug combination regimen consisting of: - Sintilimab, a monoclonal antibody targeting PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. - Bevacizumab (including the biosimilar IBI305), a monoclonal antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby blocking angiogenesis and tumor blood supply. - Pemetrexed, an antifolate small molecule chemotherapeutic agent that disrupts folate-dependent metabolic processes essential for cell replication. - Cisplatin, a platinum-based small molecule chemotherapeutic agent that causes DNA crosslinking and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. This combination has been studied primarily for the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring EGFR mutations who have progressed after EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy. The regimen has demonstrated improved progression-free survival compared to chemotherapy alone and is approved in China for this indication[1][4][5][6][8][9].
