Overview

This is a combination regimen consisting of sintilimab, doxorubicin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine. Sintilimab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. Doxorubicin is an anthracycline antibiotic that intercalates DNA and inhibits topoisomerase II, leading to cytotoxicity in rapidly dividing cells. Vinblastine is a vinca alkaloid that disrupts microtubule formation during mitosis, inhibiting cell division. Dacarbazine is an alkylating agent that causes DNA cross-linking and strand breaks. This combination has not been widely reported in published clinical trials or standard regimens; however, similar regimens using other PD-1 inhibitors (such as nivolumab) with doxorubicin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine have been studied for classical Hodgkin lymphoma[2][6][9]. Sintilimab itself has demonstrated efficacy in relapsed/refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma[8].
