Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Sintilimab + lenalidomide is a combination therapy that pairs a PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitor (sintilimab) with an immunomodulatory drug (lenalidomide). This combination has been studied for various conditions including chronic active Epstein-Barr virus infection (CAEBV) and certain lymphomas. The combination works through complementary mechanisms - sintilimab blocks the PD-1 pathway to enhance T-cell immune responses against cancer cells, while lenalidomide modulates the immune system, has anti-angiogenic properties, and directly affects tumor cells. In clinical studies, this combination has shown efficacy with manageable safety profiles.
