The combination aims to overcome tumor heterogeneity and resistance by simultaneously targeting the EGFR signaling pathway, enhancing the anti-tumor immune response, and inducing direct cytotoxic DNA damage. This specific triplet is being studied in investigator-initiated trials led by institutions such as the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University.
