sipuleucel-T + enzalutamide

Sipuleucel-T + enzalutamide is a combination therapy for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Sipuleucel-T is an autologous cellular immunotherapy that stimulates an immune response against prostatic acid phosphatase. Enzalutamide is an oral androgen receptor inhibitor that blocks androgen receptor signaling critical for prostate cancer growth. The combination is used to leverage both immunological and hormonal mechanisms; clinical studies indicate no loss of potency or safety concerns when combining these agents, whether given concurrently or sequentially, and show a prime-boost immunologic effect with maintained overall survival.
