Overview

sIPV + DTaP + HepA-L is a combination vaccine formulation that, by its name, would contain the following components: - sIPV (Sabin strain Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine): provides immunity against poliovirus. - DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Acellular Pertussis): protects against diphtheria, tetanus (lockjaw), and pertussis (whooping cough). - HepA-L (Hepatitis A vaccine - likely "Live" or "Low-dose", but this abbreviation is not standard in current US/EU practice; most hepatitis A vaccines are inactivated). Existing combination vaccines typically include combinations such as DTaP-IPV-HepB (e.g., Pediarix), DTaP-IPV-Hib-HepB (e.g., Vaxelis), but not hepatitis A[1][4][5]. Current recommendations require hepatitis A vaccination as a separate injection when using these combinations[5].
