Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This appears to be a combination of Sabin Inactivated Polio Vaccine (sIPV) and Trivalent Oral Polio Vaccine (tOPV). However, this specific combination is problematic as tOPV is no longer in use globally since April 2016 following the "OPV Switch." sIPV contains inactivated Sabin strains of poliovirus, while tOPV contained live attenuated strains of all three poliovirus types (1, 2, and 3). The combination would be unusual as these represent two different approaches to polio vaccination - one using killed virus (sIPV) and one using weakened live virus (tOPV).
