siRNA (Bub1b) is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) research reagent designed to silence or knock down the BUB1B gene (also known as BubR1, or BUB1 Mitotic Checkpoint Serine/Threonine Kinase B). BUB1B is an essential component of the spindle assembly checkpoint (SAC), which controls chromosome separation during mitosis. By targeting the kinase catalytic center of BUB1B, this siRNA inhibits tumor cell proliferation, colony formation, and tumor growth in vivo, while inducing apoptosis. It has been investigated in preclinical research settings across various cancers, including breast cancer, multiple myeloma, cholangiocarcinoma, prostate cancer, and lung adenocarcinoma. It is exclusively used as a laboratory research tool and is not associated with any clinical development program or commercial brand name.
