Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**siYW + LNP** is an investigational lipid-nanoparticle-formulated small interfering RNA therapy designed to simultaneously silence *YAP1* and *WWTR1*, which encode the Hippo-pathway transcriptional coactivators YAP and TAZ. In a CDAHFD mouse model of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis with advanced liver fibrosis, systemic administration reduced hepatic *YAP1* and *WWTR1* expression, suppressed YAP/TAZ-responsive and profibrotic gene programs, and improved hepatic steatosis and fibrosis-related measures. The formulation remains a preclinical research-stage therapeutic approach without an assigned INN or marketed brand name.
