SOC + BSB-2002 is an investigational combination regimen consisting of standard of care (SOC) plus BSB-2002, an autologous T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy. Developed by BlueSphere Bio, BSB-2002 is the clinical candidate for the TCX-102 program, which targets the mutant Nucleophosmin-1 (NPM1) neoantigen. This mutation is a founder and driver mutation found in approximately 30% of patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). BSB-2002 is engineered to recognize and eliminate AML cells expressing mutant NPM1 fragments presented on HLA-A*02:01 molecules. The regimen is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 dose-finding study for adult patients with relapsed or refractory AML who are HLA-A*02:01 positive and harbor an NPM1 mutation.
