Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zoamet-S is a nasal solution containing 0.65% w/v sodium chloride, developed and marketed by East India Pharmaceutical Works. It is formulated as a gentle, isotonic saline solution designed to match the body's natural salt concentration. Administered intranasally as drops or a spray, Zoamet-S is used to moisturize dry, irritated nasal passages and to loosen, soften, and dissolve thick or crusty mucus. This helps relieve nasal congestion and discomfort associated with the common cold, allergies, sinusitis, or environmental pollutants, and can also be used as a pre-treatment to enhance the efficacy of nasal steroid sprays.
