Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**SON-1010 + atezolizumab** is an investigational combination therapy that pairs SON-1010, a recombinant immunotherapeutic drug composed of unmodified single-chain human interleukin-12 (IL-12) fused to an albumin-binding domain of a single-chain antibody fragment (A10m3), with atezolizumab, a PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor monoclonal antibody (marketed as Tecentriq). SON-1010 is designed to prolong circulation and target the tumor microenvironment (TME) by hitchhiking on human serum albumin (HSA), thus enhancing delivery of IL-12 to tumors. The combination aims to synergistically activate immune responses—SON-1010 stimulating interferon gamma (IFNγ) and immune cell activation, and atezolizumab relieving PD-L1-mediated inhibition—potentially resulting in improved tumor control in patients with advanced solid tumors, particularly platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC) and other advanced malignancies[1][2][3][4][5].
