Overview

A combination investigational therapy consisting of **sonepcizumab** and **bevacizumab**, both targeted biologic agents that inhibit angiogenesis via distinct but complementary mechanisms. Sonepcizumab is an antibody directed against sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), a bioactive lipid mediator implicated in angiogenesis, vascular permeability, and cancer progression. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), thereby preventing VEGF-mediated tumor neovascularization. This combined approach aims to more fully suppress angiogenic pathways in cancer (such as renal cell carcinoma), potentially enhancing efficacy compared to VEGF inhibition alone.
