Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**SPY002 + SPY003** is an investigational combination drug consisting of two extended half-life monoclonal antibodies: SPY002 (anti-TL1A antibody) and SPY003 (anti-IL-23 antibody). Both antibodies are engineered for quarterly or less frequent subcutaneous injections, designed for optimized efficacy and patient convenience. SPY002 targets TL1A, a member of the TNF superfamily implicated in inflammatory and fibrotic immune responses, while SPY003 targets the p19 subunit of IL-23, a cytokine central to Th17-mediated inflammation. The combination is developed for the treatment of **ulcerative colitis** and possibly other immune-mediated diseases, and preclinical models support a synergistic benefit when both targets are inhibited[1][3][4][5][6].
