Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SPY072 + bimekizumab is an investigational combination regimen consisting of SPY072, a long-acting (half-life-extended) monoclonal antibody targeting tumor necrosis factor-like ligand 1A (TL1A), and bimekizumab, an approved monoclonal antibody targeting interleukin-17A (IL-17A) and interleukin-17F (IL-17F). Developed by Spyre Therapeutics, this combination is being evaluated in the Phase 2 SKYLIGHT trial for the treatment of moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). The trial serves as a proof-of-concept study to assess whether dual inhibition of TL1A and IL-17A/F can improve clinical outcomes (such as the week-16 HiSCR75 response rate) compared to bimekizumab alone, supporting the future development of Spyre's planned SPY772 program (a coformulation of SPY072 and SPY007).
