Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SSGJ-706 + AG is an investigational combination therapy consisting of SSGJ-706, a recombinant bispecific antibody targeting PD-1 and PD-L1, and the chemotherapy regimen AG (albumin-bound paclitaxel and gemcitabine). Developed by Sunshine Guojian Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of 3SBio, SSGJ-706 is designed to simultaneously block two key immune checkpoints to enhance T-cell activation and anti-tumor activity. The combination with AG chemotherapy is intended to provide synergistic effects by combining immune checkpoint inhibition with cytotoxic chemotherapy. It is currently in Phase II clinical development for the treatment of advanced gastrointestinal cancers, including pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, gastric adenocarcinoma, and esophageal cancer.
