SSGJ-706 + XELOX

SSGJ-706 + XELOX is a combination therapy comprising the investigational PD-1 inhibitor SSGJ-706 and the standard chemotherapy regimen XELOX (capecitabine and oxaliplatin). SSGJ-706 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Sunshine Guojian Pharmaceutical (a subsidiary of 3SBio) that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, thereby blocking the interaction with its ligands (PD-L1 and PD-L2) to restore T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity. The XELOX component consists of oxaliplatin, a platinum-based cytotoxic agent that forms DNA cross-links, and capecitabine, an oral fluoropyrimidine carbamate that is enzymatically converted to 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) to inhibit thymidylate synthase and interfere with DNA synthesis. This combination is currently in Phase II clinical development for various advanced gastrointestinal malignancies, including gastric, esophageal, colorectal, and pancreatic cancers.
