Overview
This is a combination of three agents: **SSGJ-707**, a bispecific antibody targeting PD-1 and VEGF, developed by 3SBio and partnered with Pfizer; **carboplatin**, a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis; and **albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-paclitaxel)**, a nanoparticle formulation of paclitaxel bound to albumin to enhance tumor delivery. This investigational triplet is being evaluated in clinical trials for advanced solid tumors, particularly for first-line treatment in metastatic colorectal cancer and other indications such as non-small cell lung cancer. SSGJ-707 functions as a cancer immunotherapy by blocking the PD-1 checkpoint and inhibiting angiogenesis via VEGF inhibition[1][5]. Carboplatin and paclitaxel-albumin are standard chemotherapy agents that disrupt DNA synthesis and microtubule function[2][4][6].
