ST101 + temozolomide

ST101 + temozolomide is an investigational combination therapy for glioblastoma, comprising ST101—a first-in-class peptide antagonist of CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein beta (C/EBPβ)—and temozolomide, an oral alkylating chemotherapeutic agent. ST101 acts by antagonizing C/EBPβ, promoting a more favorable immune tumor microenvironment through inhibition of immunosuppressive myeloid-derived suppressor cell formation and cytotoxicity via disruption of C/EBPβ-driven oncogenic activity[1][2][3][5]. Temozolomide methylates DNA, leading to tumor cell apoptosis. In clinical trials, the combination of ST101 with temozolomide and radiation is administered to patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma in both neoadjuvant and adjuvant settings, showing encouraging disease control rates and direct anti-tumor effects[1][3][5].
