Overview

Sunvozertinib + glumetinib is an investigational combination therapy being evaluated for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Sunvozertinib (DZD9008) is an orally available, potent, and irreversible tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) specifically designed to target EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations, as well as other EGFR and HER2 mutations. Glumetinib (SCC244) is a highly selective and potent small-molecule inhibitor of the MET receptor tyrosine kinase. This combination is primarily investigated in patients with EGFR-mutant NSCLC who have developed resistance through MET amplification or in those with co-occurring EGFR and MET alterations. By simultaneously blocking the primary oncogenic driver (EGFR) and the bypass resistance pathway (MET), the combination aims to overcome resistance mechanisms and improve clinical outcomes in molecularly defined subsets of lung cancer.
