Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination regimen consisting of four agents: surufatinib, etoposide, cisplatin, and toripalimab. Surufatinib is an oral small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets VEGFR1/2/3, FGFR1, and CSF1R to inhibit tumor angiogenesis and modulate the immune microenvironment[6][9]. Etoposide is a cytotoxic chemotherapeutic agent that inhibits topoisomerase II, leading to DNA strand breaks. Cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapy drug that forms DNA crosslinks and induces apoptosis in cancer cells. Toripalimab is a monoclonal antibody immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting PD-1 on T cells to enhance anti-tumor immunity[7][10]. This combination leverages antiangiogenic effects (surufatinib), cytotoxic chemotherapy (etoposide/cisplatin), and immunotherapy (toripalimab) for synergistic antitumor activity.
