SurVaxM + temozolomide is a combination investigational therapy developed primarily for adult patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma. **SurVaxM** is a synthetic, conjugated, multi-epitope peptide vaccine designed to induce an immune response against **survivin** (BIRC5), an inhibitor of apoptosis protein overexpressed in most glioblastoma cells and many other cancers. SurVaxM stimulates both CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell responses targeting survivin, resulting in potential antitumor activity. **Temozolomide** is an oral alkylating agent that methylates DNA, leading to tumor cell death by interfering with DNA replication and transcription. When administered together, SurVaxM augments the immune system response to cancer, while temozolomide directly kills tumor cells. This combination is being evaluated to assess improved overall survival and progression-free survival compared with temozolomide alone, with promising clinical benefit and a favorable tolerability and safety profile demonstrated in phase II trials[3][4][6][7][8][10].
