SVF + aaPRP is an autologous cell-based combination therapy consisting of stromal vascular fraction (SVF) and autologous activated platelet-rich plasma (aaPRP). Developed by the Hayandra Peduli Foundation in Indonesia, this personalized regenerative medicine approach utilizes SVF—a heterogeneous mixture of cells obtained from processed adipose (fat) tissue containing mesenchymal stem cells, fibroblasts, progenitor cells, and immune cells—and aaPRP, which serves as a concentrated source of activated growth factors. The therapy is primarily investigated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2D), aiming to improve glycemic control and promote tissue regeneration. A retrospective study (NCT05925829) has shown statistically significant reductions in HbA1c levels in patients treated with this combination.
