Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SYN-27M + IMM27M is a combination of two closely related or identical monoclonal antibodies, developed as next-generation, ADCC-enhanced antibodies targeting cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4). These antibodies are designed to act as immune checkpoint inhibitors, bolstering antitumor immune responses by inhibiting CTLA-4’s function and enhancing T cell activation. The combination has shown activity in solid tumors—such as advanced breast cancer—especially in patients progressing after endocrine therapy. SYN-27M and IMM27M are being developed by ImmuneOnco Biopharma and are licensed to Instil Bio for development outside Greater China. Clinical development includes combination studies with other immunotherapies, such as SYN-2510, with ongoing trials in dose escalation and multiple solid tumor indications[1][2][5][6][7][10].
