Synergistic kvasi-living antibiotics (MDR platform) is a preclinical-stage therapeutic approach developed by TRIZ Biopharma Innovations LLC to combat multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacterial infections. The technology utilizes a "quasi-living" (or "kvasi-living") mechanism that combines FDA-approved "enhancer" drugs—which act as bacterial growth activators—with conventional antimicrobials. Rather than attempting to kill bacteria immediately, the enhancers synchronize the bacterial population into a rapid growth phase. This metabolic shift causes the bacteria to lose their resistance mechanisms, disrupts biofilms, and halts the production of toxins and virulence factors, thereby restoring the efficacy of the co-administered antibiotics. The platform is specifically targeted toward treating infections caused by *Pseudomonas aeruginosa*, *Acinetobacter baumannii*, and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis.
