SYS6041 + carboplatin + bevacizumab is a combination therapeutic regimen being investigated for the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer. SYS6041 is a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting Folate Receptor alpha (FRα). It consists of an anti-FRα monoclonal antibody conjugated to Exatecan, a camptothecin-based topoisomerase 1 inhibitor, via a cleavable linker with a drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR) of 8.0. Carboplatin is a platinum-based alkylating agent that interferes with DNA repair, while bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), thereby suppressing tumor angiogenesis. This triplet combination aims to leverage the targeted cytotoxicity of the ADC alongside standard-of-care chemotherapy and anti-angiogenic therapy to improve outcomes in FRα-expressing solid tumors.
